Texting terms
Last updated October 4, 2026
The program
NovaSalvia appointment reminders and sign-in codes. NovaSalvia L.L.C. sends these text messages for therapists and counseling practices that use NovaSalvia:
- Appointment reminders: the day before an appointment, with its date and time.
- Sign-in codes: a one-time code when you sign in to your client portal, if you chose texted codes for two-step sign-in.
The texts contain no health information and no marketing.
How you sign up
- Reminders: answer yes to "Send me appointment reminders by text message" on your intake form, or check "Text me a reminder the day before" under My information in your client portal, or ask your therapist's office to turn them on for you.
- Sign-in codes: choose "Text me a code" when you set up two-step sign-in, and confirm your number with the first code.
Signing up is optional and isn't required for care.
How often
Message frequency varies: usually one reminder per appointment, and one code each time you sign in with a texted code.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. NovaSalvia doesn't charge for these texts.
